Though one can question the need of so many reprises and remixes, many of these do get justified. Songs are as per the mood of the film and do engross the listener on quite a few levels. The Indian flute has always been associated with the God Krishna, thus this was a perfect amalgamation. It’s an instrumental in flute played by Parash Nath who is from a dynasty of flautists (Son of Pandit Amar Nath) where the family tradition of dedication to the art of flute playing stretches back four centuries. It has the Gujarati folk beat blend with modern music which is attractive. Beginning of the track reminds one of the music of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam of which even Kirti Sagathia was a part of. Hari Bol is a traditional folk track sung by Kirti Sagathia. There is also a ‘reprise version’ of the same by Shreya Ghosal along with Aman Trikha. Sonakshi Sinha and Prabhu Deva have been able to capture the fun and essence of the act in their dance and emotions. Song was launched near the festival ‘Janmashtami’ and portrays the long tradition of ‘Matki Phod’ celebrations. Mika Singh and Shreya Ghosal have sung the song to perfection and the music is catchy and addictive. One would realize that there are 4 versions for the same track though one can give credit to Himesh Reshammiya for choosing the right track for the experimentation. Last version of this song is the ‘remixed’ version. This version will be close to a lot of listeners, mainly because due to it’s unplugged format that lends raw melody to it. Third version of the same song is Tu Hi Tu (Unplugged Version) which is sung by Ash King of Te Amo ( Dum Maaro Dum) and Aunty Ji ( Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu) fame. OMG Oh My God! Music Review: Tu Hi Tu (Unplugged Version) Though both the versions sound very similar, they are expected to take the story forward. Tu Hi Tu Reprise Version of the same song has Suraj Jagan of Give me Some Sunshine fame at the helm of affairs and his vocals elevate the song to another level. It’s a peppy song with fun beats in the background that also comprise of the famous tagline Hare Rama and Hare Krishna. Veteran lyricist Sameer makes an entry with Tu Hi Tu sung by Mohd. Kailash Kher has gone back to what he does best and can expect listeners to applaud him. Lyrics are quite meaningful while heartfelt rendition enhances the overall effect. Meet Bros Anjjan are the guest composers for this track. Mere Nishaan is the next track written by Kumaar and is sung by the talented Kailash Kher. OMG Oh My God! There is also a ‘remixed version’ of the song, which is very similar to the original other then being fast and has techno beats added in the background. Lyrics penned by Subrat Sinha go with the mood of the song and elevate it further. Benny Dayal, who is on a high after Daaru Desi, has done a good job along with Himesh.
Sung by Benny Dayal, Himesh Reshammiya and Arya Acharya, the song has a certain charm to it which makes it grow on the listener. However the song takes a different course as it moves forward.
